The Westerville City Schools Board of Education will convene in a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10 at the District's Early Learning Center, 936 Eastwind Drive, in Westerville.

Once the school day is over and students and staff are gone for the day, schools across the District take on a new life.

Westerville Central High School senior Isaac Choo is among more than 4,000 students across the nation who have been named a candidate in the U.S. Presidential Scholars program.

Tokyo Black, a sophomore at Westerville North High School, will spend this summer at Harvard Summer School’s Secondary Program, where he will live on campus and take coursework for college credit. 

Nine WCSD seniors recently signed letters of intent to play athletics in college. Westerville Central and Westerville North hosted signing ceremonies on Wednesday.

Grant Gadel, an eighth-grader at Walnut Springs Middle School, took the top spot in the school’s Spelling Bee on Monday, earning a chance to compete at the Columbus Blue Jackets Regional Bee on March 22 at Nationwide Arena.
